Fly rods by Aaron Wingert

This is something that is still in development, but the time will come.

In 2024, I took on the challenge of learning to build fly rods, and am still learning.  I'm testing the performance and durability of my builds on the river before I start doing occasional commissioned rods for clients.  As with my duck whistles, I hold myself to very high quality and performance standards, and will accept nothing less than the best for my customers.

I love classic western trout fly rods and simple looks, and the rods I build reflect that.  I'll be using glass and graphite blanks by Sage, CTS, Epic, and other higher-end manufacturers.  Reel seats will be turned in my shop and will utilize components from high-end manufacturers such as Struble.  Cork grips will be laminated and turned in my shop.
